The Cardiac Rehab RN provides medical coverage for Phase II and III rehabilitation participants during exercise and education sessions. They also serve as a key member of the interdisciplinary team, responding to medical emergencies such as Code Blue and Rapid Response events.

Pay range for this position is $37.05 - $54.54/hour.
Actual pay is based on years of licensure.

The Cardiac Rehab RN is responsible for medical coverage of Cardiac Rehabilitation Phase II & III participants during exercises and education classes. Responsible for medical coverage for rehabilitation department in case of Rapid Reponses and Code Blue. Functions as an active interdisciplinary Cardiac Rehab team member working collaboratively with Exercise Specialists, Registered Dietician, Respiratory Therapy and medical providers.
Experience with cardiac and pulmonary patient management. 2 years of clinical cardiac nursing experience OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Candidates must hold a current Illinois nursing license, BLS certification, and ACLS certification. Proficiency in interpreting EKG rhythm strips and cardiac medications is required, with two years of clinical cardiac nursing experience preferred.
