About the role

The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide primary care services to patients of all ages at the Amarillo center. Responsibilities include managing a patient load of 16-18 individuals per day while focusing on quality metrics.

Northwest Physicians Group, a part of Northwest Texas Healthcare System, is recruiting a board certified NP or PA for a FT position at our Primary Care Center in Amarillo.

As a Level II and Lead Trauma Center for the 26-county Texas Panhandle the hospital treats over 64,000 patients in its ED each year.

NWTHS features a Children’s Hospital, The Childbirth Center, and Surgical services in robotics, cardiothoracic, vascular, neurosurgery, bariatrics, head and neck, orthopedics, and ortho trauma.

NWTHS is owned and operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS), one of the largest hospital and healthcare management companies.

Requirements

Candidates must be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active, clear Texas license. Previous clinical experience is strongly preferred for this role.
