The ultrasonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular scans, while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. Candidates with less than 5 years of experience must be certified in RVT, OB/GYN, and Abdomen, or obtain certification within 1 year of hire.
Candidates with 5 years of experience or more must be certified in Abdomen or OB/GYN and must be certified in RVT or obtain certification within 1 year of hire.
Certification in Breast is preferred.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. ARDMS certification is required, with specific sub-specialty requirements based on years of experience.
