CardioClinic in Katy, TX is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic cardiology team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives while growing your career in a specialized and rewarding medical environment.

Responsibilities

Assist cardiologists and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures Perform EKGs, vital signs, and other diagnostic screenings as directed Prepare and room patients, documenting medical histories and chief complaints Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) Place heart monitors Ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and compliant with clinical standards

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant diploma or certification (CMA/RMA) preferred Prior experience in a clinical or medical office setting preferred Experience with EKGs and cardiac monitoring is a strong plus Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment BLS/CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire About Us: CardioClinic is a trusted cardiovascular care provider serving the Katy, TX community with a commitment to excellence in heart health.
