About the role

The technologist will independently perform complex, specialized cell manipulation procedures on HCT/P products while maintaining strict aseptic conditions. They are responsible for accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and ensuring error-free calculations during all phases of processing.

The Cellular Therapy Technologist will independently perform complex, highly specialized, and time-sensitive cell manipulation procedures on irreplaceable Human Cells, Tissues, and Cellular and Tissue-Based Products (HCT/P's). The technologist is responsible for aseptic handling of HCT/P’s during all phases of processing; performance of accurate and error-free calculations; maintenance of accurate and detailed documentation; adherence to specialized cleaning and gowning requirements; and for ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards, such as cGMP, cGTP, AABB, and FACT.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science degree and possess at least two years of experience in a cellular therapy laboratory setting. Certification from AMT or ASCP in Medical Technology or a related specialty is preferred.
