The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care within the inpatient operating rooms, supporting surgical procedures and interventional cases. They will act as an advocate for patients and families while maintaining a culture of safety and nursing autonomy.

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW: This unit has a highly experienced team that supports 24 new state of the art inpatient/outpatient operating rooms and 8 heart and vascular and neurology interventional procedure rooms, performing surgical procedures to restore and enhance the lives of patients. This unit operates 24/7 with coverage and support expectations of weekends and off-shift rotations at least quarterly. Qualifications

Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required.

Experience

Minimum 1 year RN experience required.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid Massachusetts nursing license and current AHA BLS certification. A minimum of one year of RN experience is required, with an Associate degree in Nursing as the minimum education level.
