  • Hours: Rotating Weekends/Holidays are required ; This position is for Flex Shifts need availability for ALL shifts listed (Day/Evening/NOC) 8 hour shifts.

What you will do

  • Facilitates didactic, educational and unit/program community groups within the assigned treatment programs. Encourages and facilitates patients’ participation in therapeutic activities. Supervises patients to ensure their safety and their involvement in treatment. Ensures patient safety by providing one-to-one supervision. Unit rounds are conducted, and precautions records completed in real time. Precautions records are accurately labeled. Orients new patients to unit, program and milieu by establishing a rapport with patients and families and making necessary introductions. Provides appropriate hand off information when accepting or receiving borders from other units. Participates in treatment planning by working with interdisciplinary team to identify patients’ problems, needs and strengths, suggests modifications to treatment plan based on observation of patient behavior and provides input into discharge planning. Completes patient, program, and department documentation. Performs various clerical and administrative assignments to support department operations. Monitors and reports patients’ progress and communicates information to charge person on assigned shift and family members.

  • Required: A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a Behavioral Health related field, no previous experience or A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a non-Behavioral Health related field, a minimum of one year of behavioral health experience Maintain information as highly confidential Ability to maintain professional boundaries and willingness to seek supervision

  • Required: A valid driver’s license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a Behavioral Health related field or a non-related field with one year of behavioral health experience. Must obtain CPI and CPR certifications within 90 days of hire.
