The provider will function as a trauma hospitalist, performing rounds, managing ICU and non-ICU patients, and responding to trauma activations. Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NP specialty (e.g., family practice, adult-gerontology, pediatrics) Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accredited program Licenses & Certifications: Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Minnesota National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by a recognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy of Nurse Practitioners [AANP]) Active and unencumbered physician assistant (PA) license in Minnesota National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Experience: While specific requirements may vary, most locum APP positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to their specialty
Travel: If you reside greater than 50 miles from the facility you are eligible for travel benefits. You will have your travel and lodging arranged by our travel department and paid for in full.
