About the role

The Vascular Access Nurse will independently perform PICC, Midline, and PIV insertions using ultrasound guidance at various patient locations. They are also responsible for line maintenance, declotting, and coordinating care with facility healthcare teams.

What You’ll Do As the dedicated Vascular Access expert for the Michigan region, you will: Lead the Procedure: Independently assess, insert, and maintain PICC lines, Midlines, and PIVs using ultrasound guidance. Clinical Maintenance: Perform line declotting and routine care to ensure patient safety and device longevity. Expert Consultation: Note and carry out physician orders while coordinating care needs with facility healthcare teams. Mobile Workflow: Travel to region-based facilities in a provided company vehicle, managing your daily caseload with a high degree of independence.

What You Bring Credentials

Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.

Specialized

Experience: At least 1 year of recent clinical experience with proven proficiency in PICC, Midline, PIV insertion, and declotting.

Technical

Skill: Experience with ultrasound-guided insertion is highly preferred.

Background

Previous experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or Long-Term Care is a plus.

Mobility

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license and possess at least one year of recent clinical experience in vascular access. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for the mobile nature of the position.
