Under the direction of the Program Supervisor, performs professional duties including therapeutic assessments, treatment plan development, therapy implementation, and evaluation of data to determine progress towards goals and to adjust the plan as needed. Functions as supervising discipline for assigned cases; performs related work as required.
Educational Requirements: Year(s) of Experience
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Therapy and registered by the State of Michigan as a Speech Language Pathologist Therapist.
Must have some documented experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and pediatric populations
Must be able and willing to provide speech therapy services as outlined in the Michigan Medicaid Manual. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and some irregular hours; must have a valid Michigan driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and the use of a vehicle during work hours; ability to physically perform the tasks.
Strong clinical foundation in assessing and treating apraxia and other language and communication delays, experience working with individuals who may engage in challenging behavior, and experience functioning as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
