8:00 AM–5:00 PM. The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to provide blood collection and patient support during scheduled workplace health events in Fort Wayne. This temporary opportunity is well suited for a phlebotomist, medical assistant, paramedic, or other qualified professional who is confident performing venipuncture and enjoys working in an organized, patient-focused environment. Candidates may be considered for all four event dates or based on their individual availability.

Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens accurately and safely. Confirm patient information and properly label specimens. Document services and screening information electronically. Help maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the event. Prepare and organize the blood collection area before appointments begin. Follow infection-control, privacy, and specimen-handling procedures. Provide patients with clear instructions and a professional experience. Current training, certification, or professional experience permitting venipuncture. Recent hands-on blood collection experience. Active BLS certification (CPR). Strong attention to patient identification, labeling, and documentation. Comfortable using an electronic health record or digital charting system.
