Atrium Health Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its growing, well-established outpatient gastroenterology team in the Charlotte metro area. Candidate Qualifications: Experienced APPs with at least 2 years of gastroenterology, hepatology/transplant or internal medicine experience are preferred. State Licensure Requirement: NC. Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – Master’s Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice. License to practice as a Registered Nurse required. Certification in the area of practice from a nationally recognized certifying body required. Physician Assistant – Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required, Master’s Degree. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred. APP who demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills. APP who can prioritize and make proactive decisions.
