Position Responsibilities Essential Responsibilities Exemplifies our 5 Star Service to clients, team members, referents, and families. Demonstrates a high level of clinical skill in assessing the clinical needs of clients, determining appropriate interventions, and conducting individual and group therapy sessions in accordance with these needs. Assists in identification of treatment/contract goals, completing the initial psychosocial assessment. Responsible for maintaining contact with the assigned client’s referring/outpatient therapist during the course of the client’s stay and the family when/if appropriate. Completes and updates treatment plan for assigned clients. Assist in providing clinical updates to the insurance company’s Case Manager. Meets with clients two to three times weekly, to help explore identified issues and behaviors in relationship to current symptoms. Leads and participates in group meetings, meals and other activities in the milieu. Provides comprehensive understanding of current behaviors and relational dynamics while using a variety of therapeutic modalities. Attends the weekly team meetings and share observations, comments and important information about clients with the treatment team and provides input into the development of the weekly schedules for all of his/her assigned clients. Responsible for proper charting and ensuring that all documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner. Assists in meal/snack supervision as assigned and attends special occasion activities for the clients. Assists with discharge planning, including a written discharge summary and obtaining referral sources and necessary support systems once the client is discharged. Preforms other activities and appropriate responsibilities as requested by the Executive Director. Additional Responsibilities Functions within the guidelines of the facility’s Code of Ethics and in accordance with corporate compliance. Provides a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Accomplishes organization mission by completing other duties as assigned. QualificationsWhat We Are Seeking/ Education and Experience Position requires a Master’s Degree, PhD, PsyD, EdD, licensed or working toward license (MFT, LPC, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) in the state of Florida. Position requires a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a behavioral healthcare setting, preferably with clients with mental health and substance use disorders, strongly preferred. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to communicate with peers, clients, and/or vendors. Job performance will require the ability to move throughout the building. Performs duties that require the employee to stand and walk for extended periods of time. May sit or remain stationary for periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to talk or hear, sit, stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste, or smell. Ability to move up to twenty-five pounds. Other Requirements Position requires a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance. Screening and Assessment – engages clients and members of the client support system, as appropriate, in screening and assessment to develop individualized, client-centered, evidence-informed care plans. Leverages established screening tools for psychosocial, pain, domestic violence, substance use, self-hard, and distress assessments, among others. Care Planning and Intervention – develops and implements evidence-informed care plans that promote clinical excellence throughout the client-centered continuum of care. Care plans outline necessary steps, identified collaboratively with the care team, to achieve objectives identified in the biopsychosocial assessment. Leverage evidence-informed, clinically excellent treatment interventions. Advocacy – advocates for the needs and interest of clients and families to promotes clinical excellence through improved outcomes, access to care, and service delivery. Participates in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing client outcomes and strengthening clinical service delivery. Interdisciplinary and Interorganizational Collaboration – promotes cross functional collaboration among team members and referral partners to support and enhance clinical service delivery and support. Requirements
