As a Sonographer, you will use the latest technology to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures and provide expert care to patients.

While you individually select and operate ultrasound equipment, prepare patients for procedures and evaluate images for technical quality, you will also work closely with our larger medical team.

Develop and Grow your Career! Invest in furthering your education through seeking certifications or advanced degrees by taking advantage of our Tuition Reimbursement! This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based upon your Full or Part Time status.

Get Involved! Work with a variety of physicians, employees and vendors and travel to other Main Line Radiology locations as needed.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year experience as a cardiac sonographer preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience preferred if not a graduate of an accredited cardiac ultrasound training program. Ability to perform Echo, Stress Echo, and assist with TEE.

Education

Graduate of a cardiac ultrasound training program (Accredited Program Preferred) with an Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or 3 years experience in the field.

Licensures/Certifications

RDCS or RVT from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or RCS with Cardiovascular Credentialing International preferred at time of hire; required within one year of hire.

Requirements

Requires a graduate degree from an accredited cardiac ultrasound training program with an Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or 3 years of field experience. Must hold or obtain RDCS, RVT, or RCS certification within one year of hire.
