Requirements

Under the general direction of the Direct Service Manager, a Direct Service Provider is responsible for providing support, guidance, and direction to members attending Community or Center-Based programs. Direct Care Providers offer MIKID licensable services to primary caregivers while supporting the emotional, physical, and mental well-being of members and their families. Services may be provided in the child’s home, a licensed facility, or in the community.

  • Candidates for this position should have a High School degree or equivalent and be at least 21 years old in accordance with medical licensing regulations.
  • Additionally, one year of experience in behavioral health or childcare is required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities, are essential.
  • This position requires availability to work two Saturdays per month as a standard component of the role's schedule.
  • Preference is given to candidates with prior experience in the behavioral health field and those who demonstrate bilingualism.
  • Candidates should also possess CPR/First Aid Certification and a current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
  • A valid Arizona Driver's License, business use vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration are necessary.
  • Completion of all necessary paperwork and mandatory training prior to providing services is also required.
