  • Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm The Hampton - Newport News Community Services Board (H-NNCSB) is seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW or LMFT) to join our Child and Adolescent Outpatient Therapy team. In this role, you will provide high quality behavioral health services to children, adolescents and their families while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery, resilience and healthy development.

As a Licensed Therapist, you will

Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and establish diagnostic impressions.

Develop individualized treatment plans and make appropriate treatment recommendations and referrals.

Provide individual therapy for children and adolescents using evidence-based treatment approaches.

Respond to behavioral health crises and provide short-term crisis intervention, when needed.

Maintain an active outpatient caseload while ensuring timely, accurate clinical documentation, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Coordinate care with families, schools, healthcare providers, community partners, and other professionals to support positive outcomes.

Monitor client participation in medical and behavioral health services and provide aftercare and follow-up services as appropriate.

Identify community resources and connect individuals and families with supportive services.

Attend treatment team meetings, client staffing, court hearings, or legal proceedings when required.

Document services, maintain statistical data, and ensure compliance with agency, state, and payer requirements.

Provide administrative supervision and clinical supervision toward licensure as assigned.

Required qualifications/skills

Current Virginia licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT. Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience including therapeutic counseling, crisis intervention, and case management functions. Requirements
