About the role

The Patient Care Technician provides hands-on support and education to patients undergoing Peritoneal Dialysis under the supervision of an RN. Responsibilities include monitoring patient vitals, managing clinical documentation, and maintaining medical equipment.

Posting Date 07/29/2026 1650 MANHEIM PIKE, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, 17601-3056, United States of America DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients undergoing Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) in an outpatient setting. This role provides hands-on support, education, and care coordination under RN supervision to patients managing kidney failure at home.

Key Responsibilities Assist with training patients and caregivers on PD procedures Support clinical team with patient monitoring, documentation, and equipment prep Conduct home supply inventory and assist with arranging deliveries Monitor vital signs and collect lab specimens as needed Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, and social workers

Requirements

Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance Comfortable working with medical supplies, blood, and needles Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays Physical stamina for long shifts and on-your-feet work Healthcare experience (CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy) preferred
