About the role

The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients in inpatient and outpatient settings while developing comprehensive treatment programs. They also participate in patient education and direct support personnel within their scope of practice.

The Occupational Therapist plans, evaluates and treats patients related to their occupational therapy needs within a clinical (inpatient and outpatient) setting. Participates in established occupational therapy programs including patient care and education. Evaluates and treats patients and establishes treatment programs and/or implements comprehensive discharge plans. Directs support personnel within the scope of practice.

Education Bachelor's Degree from accredited Occupational Therapy program Required Master's Degree from accredited Occupational Therapy program Preferred or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience 1 year experience in an Occupational Therapy Setting Preferred

Licenses PA Occupational Therapist Lic Required Natl Board Certified OT Required Basic Life Support Required

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program and possess a valid PA Occupational Therapist license. National Board Certification and Basic Life Support certification are also required.
