About the role

Provides holistic nursing care, including patient assessment, monitoring, and medication management within an interdisciplinary team. Coordinates medical care between patients, providers, and families while supporting the development of individualized treatment plans.

Position Overview: *Upcoming site relocation to Aurora, OH
  • Provides holistic and compassionate nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team to clients with Eating Disorders and other comorbid disorders in an inpatient or residential higher level of care (HLOC) setting.

Schedule

  • Part-time, 16 hours/week 2nd shift, 2p-10:30p 3rd shift, 10p-6:30a

  • Recovery: Provides client care through assessment, monitoring, and intervention to address health concerns appropriately Provides medication management including education, assessing adherence, administration in the inpatient and residential setting only, and monitoring for side effects in collaboration with provider Assists and supports medical and psychiatric providers with medical care coordination Provides medical care coordination between patient, provider, staff, family and outside care agencies as needed Serves as a staff resource for client medical needs and information Partners with the treatment team to create the appropriate treatment plan for each client

Qualifications

Licensed as a LPN or RN in Ohio Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive Current Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association) within 30 days from date of hire Experience or strong desire to work in a mental health setting

Requirements

Must hold a valid LPN or RN license in Ohio and possess a current Basic Life Support certification. Requires a valid driver's license and a strong desire to work in a mental health or eating disorder treatment setting.
