Baystate Children’s Hospital (BCH), a 110-bed and 57-bassinette hospital located within Baystate Medical Center, is the only accredited full-service children’s hospital in western Massachusetts and provides primary and advanced medical care to babies, children, and adolescents and their families.
The Children’s and Adolescents Unit is seeking a part time day RN to join our team!
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: The Children’s and Adolescents Unit is designed to meet the needs of babies and kids from birth to age 21.
This is a special unit that tries to make each child’s stay as comfortable as possible.
In addition to providing excellent patient care the unit strives to provide play and activity spaces, and we have a great indoor and outdoor play deck for the children.
Our team of doctors, nurses, and child life specialists as well as other specialists create a care plan that matches each child’s developmental, physical, and emotional needs.

SCHEDULE: Part Time- 30 hrs. days 7 AM- 7 PM Rotating weekends and holidays Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA
Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
Candidates must have a valid nursing license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and at least one year of RN experience. A degree in nursing is required, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, along with current American Heart Association CPR certification.
