About the role

The Hospice Aide provides personal care to patients and performs simple hospice procedures under the direction of a registered nurse. They are responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients within the assigned service areas.

Make a Difference The Hospice Aide takes personal care of the patient and completes other simple procedures pertaining to hospice care under the direction of the registered nurse. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years of hospice care experience.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Indiana CNA license required according to federal, state, and local guidelines.
  • Compassionate
  • Ability to read and communicate orally and in writing
  • Ability to accept and follow directions
  • Complete certification and competency testing according to federal, state, and local standards
  • CPR certified 100 point HHA test Will service primarily the Greenwood area with occasional clients in Franklin and Camby

Requirements

Candidates must have at least two years of hospice experience, a high school diploma or GED, and an active Indiana CNA license. Additionally, applicants must be CPR certified and demonstrate the ability to follow directions and communicate effectively.
