About the role

The CT Technologist performs high-quality computed tomography scans to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment while ensuring safety and comfort. The role involves operating multi-slice scanners, administering contrast agents, and maintaining effective communication within a team environment.

Full-time CT Tech- Day Shift. This position doesn't require call, standby or weekend hours.

South Sound Radiology is looking for a full time CT Technologist to join our team. This position performs high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accuracy. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Shift: Week days (4-10's or 5-8's)

Location

Located in beautiful Olympia, Washington. Geographically located between the salt waters of the Puget Sound and the fresh waters of Budd Inlet and the Deschutes River. The South Sound offers stunning views of Mt. Rainier and the Olympic Mountain range. Whether you're looking to ski the slopes, hike adventurous trails or enjoy summer water sports, the PNW offers it all.

Compensation

The salary range is $39.74 - $49.68 - $62.10/hourly. The salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status.

  • Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, conducts, and performs CT examinations, and assumes responsibility for designated areas.
  • Utilizes a multi-slice CT scanner and power injector. Starts IVs and administers various contrast agents at the direction of the Radiologist.
  • Provides patient care services as needed in a professional, compassionate manner.
  • Fosters teamwork through effective communication with a positive approach.

Qualifications

  • Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program or other compatible course of study.
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic license required (Washington State X-ray license, ARRT).
  • Advanced registry in CT required.
  • Current certification in Healthcare Provider CPR.
  • 1 year experience preferred.
