About the role

The Interventional Technologist assists and performs all interventional and radiographic examinations within the Special Procedures department. They are responsible for providing care to patients of all age groups throughout the imaging process.

To assist/perform all interventional/radiographic examinations in Special Procedures.

Qualifications

  • Education: Vocational Training.
  • Specific course work: Graduate from School of Radiologic Technology recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and/or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS). :

  • Licensure/Certifications: Florida State License/ and/or RCIS ARRT certification/ and/or RCIS BLS from

  • Experience: Less than one (1) year general Radiology with emphasis toward angio/interventional procedures.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an ARRT-recognized School of Radiologic Technology and hold relevant Florida state licensure or RCIS certification. A minimum of less than one year of general radiology experience with an emphasis on angio/interventional procedures is required.
