• St. Vincent's Hospital Westchester, a division of Saint Joseph's Medical Center, has a part-time position for a BC/BE psychiatrist in the Evaluation and Referral Service. In the Evaluation and Referral Service, the psychiatrist will perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations on walk-in and psychiatric emergency clients and transfers from other psychiatric emergency rooms in the area and will collaborate with and following up on cases started by Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and social workers in the evaluation service. The physician should feel comfortable with assessing safety, the assignment of inpatient vs. outpatient psychiatric and/or substance abuse services, and the ability to write initial orders including medications as appropriate.

• Part-Time Day Shifts | 3 daytime shifts - 7.5 hours per day (22.5 hours per week)
• Salary: $170,000 per year
