The Patient Care Assistant provides direct support to patients with daily activities such as hygiene, mobility, and feeding. They also assist nursing staff by monitoring vital signs, recording intake and output, and preparing patient rooms.

Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Patient Care Assistant, you’ll help our patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with their basic daily life activities.
Every day, you will directly support patients with tasks such as personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding, while also assisting nursing staff with vital sign monitoring and preparing patient rooms.Your success in this role comes from your genuine desire to help patients feel better, whether that means giving them fresh bed linens or checking their vitals.
You're diligent about your tasks, observant of patients’ conditions improving or declining, and accept coaching well.
Provides direct patient care as delegated by RN staff Monitors and records vital signs Assists in providing personal hygiene and physical care needs Accurately measures, records, and reports intake and output Obtains and records daily weight Performs blood glucose testing using blood glucose meter Job Requirements Required High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or High School GED General Studies, upon hire and graduated from an accredited school of nursing or 1 year direct patient care experience , upon hire Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and either be a graduate of an accredited nursing school or possess one year of direct patient care experience. A Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is required within 14 days of hire.
