Under supervision, functions as a member of a team utilizing equipment and services. Sets up, operates and monitors specialized equipment and supplies utilized for cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. Functions as assistant to cardiologist or surgeons during catheter-based and devise implant procedures.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program or possess equivalent experience. Current BCLS and ACLS certifications are required, along with relevant professional registration or the ability to obtain it.
