The Ultrasound Technologist performs independent ultrasound procedures using non-ionizing, high-frequency ultrasonic waves for diagnosis. They are expected to promote a team-based approach while delivering patient-focused, whole-person care.
The registered Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of ultrasound principles. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply non-ionizing, high frequency ultrasonic waves to patients for ultrasound diagnosis. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of Providence Health & Services.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
