Myland Homecare is seeking a compassionate, dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in our clients' homes throughout our Georgia service area. This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients while providing high-quality nursing care in a home setting. WE WILL TRAIN NEW GRADUATES
Provide skilled nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and changes in health status.
Perform wound care, catheter care, ostomy care, and other nursing procedures within the LPN scope of practice.
Collect specimens and assist with laboratory testing as ordered.
Maintain accurate electronic documentation.
Communicate with physicians, families, and the healthcare team.
Follow physician orders and individualized care plans.
Ensure compliance with agency policies, infection control, and HIPAA requirements.
Supervise Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) when assigned by the RN or Administrator.
Participate in staff meetings and required training.
Current Georgia LPN license in good standing.
Current CPR certification.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
Minimum one year of nursing experience preferred but will train new graduates.
Home care, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience is a plus.
Ability to pass a criminal background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening.
