About the role

The psychotherapist determines clinical interventions, facilitates therapy, and provides education for patients and their families. They are also responsible for completing diagnostic assessments, managing treatment planning, and coordinating discharge transitions.

Job Overview

Determines clinical interventions, facilitates therapy, and provides education for patients and their families.

Completes Diagnostic assessment and bills under a physician.

Facilitates treatment planning and manages each case.

Responsible for development of transition/discharge plan.

Communicates effectively and respectfully with others, including interdisciplinary team and all other contacts.

Functions as an interdisciplinary team member.

Required Qualifications Masters degree in Social Work and/or Psychology 2 years experience Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Preferred Qualifications

2 years supervised therapy experience in mental health including assessment, individual, group and family therapy.

Compensation Disclaimer

The posted pay range reflects a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE) and aligns with the minimum and maximum pay rates specified in the union agreement at the time of job posting. The pay rate for an individual within this range may vary based on factors such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, andqualifying experience as detailed in the contract. Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology and possess at least 2 years of relevant experience. Required licensure includes LICSW, Licensed Psychologist, LPCC, or LMFT.
