CT Technologist II
Perform high-quality Computed Tomography (CT) imaging procedures according to established protocols under physician supervision. Maintain equipment cleanliness, manage supply inventory, and provide patient education while adhering to radiation safety regulations.
Sentara is currently hiring a CAT Scan Technologist II in Halifax, Virginia This is a Full-Time, Night shift opportunity with great benefits. A 30K bonus is available to qualified candidates. As a CAT Scan Technologist, you will provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; Provides patient and family education; Operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; Maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.
Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology ARRT or CNMT is required, BLS Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.
