Education Patient Care Technicians acquire and maintain current knowledge of their assigned duties. Collegiality Patient Care Technicians interact with, and contribute to, the development of peers. Ethics Patient Care Technicians deliver care in a nonjudgmental, nondiscriminatory, sensitive, and culturally competent manner. Collaboration Patient Care Technicians collaborate with the client, family members, significant others, and health care providers in providing care. Communication Patient Care Technicians communicate effectively with clients, families, and other health care professionals.
