Market context

Iowa PRN sonography roles stay selective

In Iowa, PRN sonographer openings are often driven by variable patient volume and coverage needs, so employers tend to look for candidates who can step in with minimal orientation. This role is competitive because it requires a CAAHEP-accredited sonography background, ARDMS eligibility or certification in OB-GYN, Abdomen, and Vascular, plus BLS and English fluency. Before applying, confirm your credential status and note that the requirements and benefits here are AI-summarized from the original job description, which can save time when comparing options.
