Medical Assistant - Internal Medicine

We are a well-established, busy Internal Medicine practice looking for a full-time Medical Assistant who is friendly, organized, and passionate about providing outstanding patient care. If you enjoy building relationships with patients, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to work with a supportive team that values collaboration and respect, we'd love to meet you! What You'll Do Welcome and room patients while creating a positive patient experience Obtain vital signs and document medical histories Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers as needed Perform point-of-care testing (per state regulations) Process prescription refill requests and prior authorizations Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure infection control standards are met Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record

What We're Looking For Medical Assistant certification preferred, but experienced candidates are encouraged to apply Previous experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Primary Care preferred Experience with electronic medical records (Athenahealth experience is a plus) Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical setting A positive attitude and a team-first mindset
