Mountain Community Health Partnership (MCHP) is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team. The LPN will provide nursing care to patients under the direction and supervision of Registered Nurses, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistances in accordance with the North Carolina Nursing Practice Act. The LPN will serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring quality patient care.
Assist in data collection including patient's chief complaint, allergies, medications, medical history and vital signs. Provide ongoing assessment of patient status and report changes to supervising healthcare provider. Facilitate coordination of care by obtaining and tracking test results and consult records. Engage in pre-planning and daily huddles to discuss patients on the day's schedule. Perform delegated nursing functions using established policies, procedures, and standards of care. Administer medications, perform venipuncture for lab specimens, and assist in emergencies. Work cooperatively with team members and assist in their assignments.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Valid LPN license in the state of NC. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
One year experience in medical/surgical nursing or clinical setting preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office, detail-oriented, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and critical thinking skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Bilingual, preferred.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing with a valid LPN license in North Carolina and current BLS certification. One year of experience in a medical/surgical or clinical setting is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
