Responsibilities

• Northwest Specialty Hospital, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, brings expanded services to a new building located at 6225 Sharlands Ave. in Northwest Reno.
• The facility will offer acute rehabilitation and adult behavioral health services.
• Our acute rehabilitation services include occupational, speech, and physical therapy for adults recovering from stroke, injury, or another disabling condition.
• We offer advanced treatment for a wide range of conditions including stroke, brain injury, amputation, neurological disorders, major multiple traumas and spinal cord and back injuries.
• All patients will experience private rooms, have access to a newly renovated therapy gym, and personalized care from our qualified staff.

We are looking for a housekeeper to clean all areas of the hospital. Participates in the department's continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

• Duties/Responsibilities: Performs cleaning and maintenance of all ares of the hospital. Performs restoration functions on highly soiled or worn areas Performs assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department. Operates and maintains all equipment correctly and safely.

Qualifications

• One to three (1-3) months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.
