Excellent opportunity for a Florida licensed Radiation Therapist to join an established radiation oncology practice in SW Florida. This is a full-time, permanent position. They will administer radiation treatments as well as ensure appropriate and applicable standards and practices as prescribed by a physician. TrueBeam experience preferred. Will be compliant with all regulations with the facility as it pertains to specific guidelines, requirements, and regulations.
Reviews patient history, physicians orders and radiation therapy treatment plan. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patients understanding and cooperation. Delivers therapy according to the treatment plan and the physicians prescription. Prepares equipment and supplies. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Leads the team of all therapists in all aspects required such as but not limited to schedules, training, and coverage.
Registered Radiation Therapist, graduate from accredited radiation therapy school or college. ARRT registered and certified, State of Florida license required by start date. CPR certification required. Experience with Varian machines preferred.
