The MRI Technologist is responsible for assisting and guiding patients through MRI scanning procedures. They must maintain high standards of patient care while operating state-of-the-art imaging technology.

Make a Difference

The MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Technologist will assist and guide patients through MRI scans. Exceptional Skillsand Qualifications Exceptional communication, technical and patient care skills Aptitude toward the team philosophy Team player Ability to work independently without direct supervision Basic computer skills Knowledge of sterile technique · Education High School Diploma or GED required, graduate from an accredited imaging school preferred · License

For MRI registered. One of the following is required Certifications/Licensures

(American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT), Certified Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)(ARRT))

For MRI non-registered Required Certifications/Licensures

(Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana and ARRT(R) Registry. OR Radiology Student Permit by the State of Indiana and ARRT registry eligible. ARRT(R) registry and Radiologic Technologist License by the State of Indiana be obtained within six months. ARRT(MR) registry must be obtained within one year of hire

Requirements

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and possess relevant MRI or Radiologic Technologist certifications. Proficiency in sterile techniques and the ability to work independently are essential requirements for this role.
