As a Float Physical Therapist, you'll have the opportunity to work with diverse outpatient populations across multiple clinic locations while providing individualized, evidence-based care.
You'll treat patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, balance and mobility impairments, musculoskeletal conditions, and other functional limitations.

Your Role: Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
Deliver evidence-based treatment interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and overall quality of life.
Treat a variety of orthopedic, post-operative, musculoskeletal, balance, vestibular, and mobility-related conditions.
Provide exceptional patient care across multiple outpatient clinic locations.
Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
Educate patients on injury prevention, wellness, and home exercise programs.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to streamline documentation and maximize patient care time.
Utilize the Raintree EMR platform for documentation, scheduling, and patient management.
Work within a manageable caseload environment, typically targeting approximately 10-12 patient visits per day for full-time outpatient clinicians.
Requires a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent and a current Virginia Physical Therapist license. Candidates must be willing to travel between assigned clinic locations.

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT/MPT/BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
Current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
Ability and willingness to travel between assigned clinic locations.
