Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Student Rad Tech, you will gain hands-on experience, supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis.Every day, you will assist in performing various imaging examinations (X-rays, CT, MRI), learning patient positioning, and contributing to positive patient experiences under supervision.To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a foundational understanding of imaging principles, committed to mastering workflow and image quality.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Assist with procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist’s expectations and protocols.
Displays knowledge and complies with the National Patient Safety goals.
Supports and reports any identified compliance matters.
Participates in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction.
Uses standard precautions, PPE, at all times.
Job Requirements Required High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or High School GED General Studies, upon hire and A minimum of twelve (12) months education in a JRCERT accredited School of Radiology, upon hire Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least twelve months of education in a JRCERT accredited School of Radiology. A Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification is also required upon hire.
