We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse's to join our Behavioral Health team. This position is responsible for providing direct patient care in a psychiatric mental health setting, ensuring that all nursing practices comply with professional standards and hospital protocols.
• Preferred: At least 1-3 years of experience in psychiatric nursing
Required: Current Florida RN License.
Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
Required: CPI certification
Preferred: Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.

Maintain required licenses/certifications, including Florida RN License, BLS certification and CPI Certification.
Complete the Department of Children and Families (DCF) online Baker Act Training modules as indicated on instruction form given upon hire and submit certificates for each..
Perform comprehensive assessments of patients on admission and throughout their stay.
Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
Document all patient interactions, treatments, and responses in accordance with hospital policy.
Administer medications as prescribed, including PRN medications.
Monitor patients for side effects and effectiveness of medications.
Ensure accurate documentation of medication administration and patient reactions.
Treat all patients with dignity and respect, maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
Ensure patients understand their rights, informed consent, and treatment options.
Act as a patient advocate and provide non-judgmental, culturally sensitive care.

Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing and a current Florida RN license. Required certifications include BLS and CPI, with a preference for 1-3 years of psychiatric nursing experience.
