Radiologist · $583,000 - $583,000/yr

About the role

The radiologist will perform diagnostic readings across various modalities including CT, US, and MRI while participating in an equitable shift-based rotation. This is a direct hospital-employed position with no partnership track or buy-in requirement, offering a private practice-style environment with academic health system benefits.

A 1.0 FTE radiologist has a 180 shift target per year.

Hours are generally 8 am to 4:30 pm with overnight nighthawk coverage from 6 pm to 8 am.

Call is equally distributed among the group, prorated for FTE, and weekend call shifts are from 8 am to 6 pm.

The team covers one hospital and one imaging center in Hillsboro.

About our case mix and procedures: More specialized modality cases are typically read by the respective sub-specialty trained members of the practice.

Market context

Oregon radiology roles need board-eligible specialists

In Oregon, radiologist openings are typically driven by ongoing imaging demand across hospitals and outpatient settings, with employers looking for ABR board-certifying eligible candidates who have completed an ACGME-accredited residency; some International Medical Graduates may also qualify if they meet specific certification requirements. These roles can be competitive because employers often weigh subspecialty fit, credentialing readiness, and coverage needs alongside benefits such as health insurance, retirement, relocation reimbursement, and CME allowance. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this platform to quickly compare the original posting, then confirm your certification pathway and licensure readiness before applying.
