Scope of Work Provides healthcare services, applying cross-sectional computed tomography (CT) imaging and all related duties to assist diagnosis or treatment.
Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
Provides appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
Acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological, and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acts as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues.
Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.
Required Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field Preferred Bachelor's Degree CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required Or CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Upon Hire required Or CRT-Computed Tomography (CT) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 2 Yrs required Or CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire required
Requires an Associate's degree or equivalent experience and relevant certifications such as ARRT or NMTCB. Candidates must also possess or obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
