Scope of Work Provides health care services, applying pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
Role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acts as a resource to other MRI staff in managing complex issues.
Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.
Assists in and facilitates employee development.
Required Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field 2 years of relevant experience MRI experience Required CRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required Or CRT-American Registry Of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (MRI) - ARMRIT American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists Upon Hire required AHA or ARC (BLS) Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience and at least 2 years of relevant MRI experience. Required certifications include ARRT or ARMRIT registration and BLS certification.
