Infusion Department Responsible for administering Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Immunoglobulin and Iron. Symptom management and patient education. Management of Central Line Catheters such as port-a-caths. Provide care according to the individualized needs of the patient using the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Education and Training Requirements Associates degree required National Nursing License and BLS certification required 0 - 1 year experience. 2 - 4 years preferred Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to use problem solving, critical thinking, and priority setting skills Oncology experience a plus Excellent peripheral IV skills preferable ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certificate Course required after one year OCN certification required within two years Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
Candidates must hold an Associate degree, a National Nursing License, and BLS certification. Oncology experience is considered a plus, and ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification is required within one year.
