Position Summary

Delivers quality healthcare to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults, working collaboratively with a healthcare team to monitor patient health and ensure comprehensive, well-rounded medical care.

Education: Doctorate degree

Experience

1+ years of experience in ANY of the following: Pediatrics Pediatric Care

Licenses/Certifications

Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration Valid Medical Doctor (MD) license in the state of California (CA) ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications: Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)

Overview

Schedule: Willingness to work off hours and overtime as needed to attend to patients

Travel: Required to rotate between all Health Clinics as needed

• Key Responsibilities
• Provide outpatient and in-hospital medical care to patients
• Monitor health, growth, and development of patients from birth
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation
• Manage cases for patients with chronic conditions
• Consult with Medical Director on diagnosis or management issues
• Prescribe essential medications to patients
• Participate in daily team meetings and huddles
• Serve as preceptor for medical students and NP/PA students
