Physical Therapist - Part-Time
The Physical Therapist will conduct evidence-based evaluations and provide treatment using manual therapy, exercise prescription, and therapeutic modalities. They will collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists to deliver care in outpatient, inpatient, and swing bed settings.
Barrett Hospital & HealthCare invites applications to fill a Physical Therapist (PT) position to join our Rehabilitation Services team. As part of our clinical team, a qualified candidate will take ownership of evidence based evaluation and treatment while applying their expertise in movement science, manual therapy interventions, exercise prescription and therapeutic modalities to produce meaningful outcomes. PT team members will collaborate closely with physicians, as well as our OT and SLP team in an interdisciplinary setting. Continual professional growth is encouraged through robust continuing education allowances and available paid time for course attendance. Therapists can expect to see an eclectic mix of diagnoses and age groups while working primarily in an outpatient orthopedic setting as well as inpatient acute care and swing bed. Opportunities available for those interested in pediatrics, although not required.
Master’s or Doctorate degree (preferred) from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited Physical Therapy program Candidates must be able to produce documentation of passing the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) Must be eligible to acquire or currently possess an active Montana State license in Physical Therapy from the Montana Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
