About the Role
The MDS (Minimum Data Set) Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and comprehensive assessment data collection and reporting within Senior Suites, SS.
This position is responsible for coordinating and completing resident assessments in compliance with federal and state regulations, which directly impacts care planning and reimbursement processes.

Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with relevant clinical licensure as required by the state.
- Demonstrated experience with MDS assessments and knowledge of CMS regulations.
- Strong understanding of long-term care clinical practices and documentation standards.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and MDS software applications.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assessments and deadlines.

- Certification as an MDS Coordinator or related credential.
- Experience working in a senior living or skilled nursing facility environment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive resident assessments using the MDS tool in accordance with CMS guidelines and facility policies.
