The system includes Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional; three urgent care facilities; nearly 30 primary care and specialty care offices in multiple locations throughout Cape May County; The Cancer Center at Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional; the Claire C.

Brodesser Surgery Center; AMI at Cooper, Miracles Fitness and numerous freestanding outpatient facilities providing wound care, lab, and physical therapy services.

Cooper University Hospital Cape Regional is accredited by and received the Gold Seal of approval from The Joint Commission. #LI-CU1 Short Description In a CAP-accredited laboratory, perform waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing while ensuring accuracy and timely results through adherence to QC and QA methodologies.

Maintain a strong focus on detail, reference ranges, and clinical relevancy.

Assist with specimen receiving, respond to pneumatic tube requests, and handle phone inquiries with professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.

Exhibit flexibility by working in all lab sections as needed.

Experience Required Preferred experience in all lab sections.

Experience with LIS (Laboratory Information System) is required.

Education Requirements MLS (MT) or MLT certification through ASCP or eligibility.

New grads are welcome to apply.

License/Certification Requirements MLS (MT) or MLT certification preferred (ASCP).

Special Requirements Shift: Day (7 AM - 3 PM), with evening shift coverage as needed (3 PM - 11 PM).

Alternating weekends and rotating holidays.

Requirements

Candidates must hold or be eligible for MLS (MT) or MLT certification through ASCP. Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) is required, and previous experience in all laboratory sections is preferred.
