Position Summary

Med/Surge Float RNs provide 24/7 clinical excellence for med/surge areas. Nurses must be flexible and versatile. The Float Pool provides a clinical overview that is unparalleled in any other med/surge area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver nursing care in the Medical Surgical, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues Update and manage patient records Enter and interpret computerized data/information Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects JOB REQUIREMENTS: Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 1+ years of RN experience preferred Certification in basic life support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) completed during orientation. PCC Certification required within 1 year of hire which is offered by the hospital. Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty, certification required for certain practice areas Effective verbal and written communication skills Physical ability to meet job responsibilities Basic computer proficiency Fluency in another language a plus Compensation Range: $39.80- $93.69 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements. Requirements

Candidates must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts and hold BLS and ACLS certifications. A nursing degree (Diploma, ASN, or BSN) is required, with at least one year of relevant clinical experience preferred.
