Salary Range: (final salary offer is based on a number of factors, such as certifications, experience, and more):

$23.78 - $26.78/hour

PLUS! $0.9615/hour Bilingual Spanish differential

PLUS! $0.9615/hour Intensive Services differential

This is a field-based position that will travel throughout Los Angeles County.

  • Experience as a parent or care-providing family member of a consumer of mental health services, DCFS, or Department of Probation services.
  • Spanish fluency required to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Parent Partner Certification preferred.
  • Must possess a valid California driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record under the Clinics' liability policy. May be required to obtain a Class II California driver’s license.
  • Must pass all applicable health, fingerprint/LiveScan and DMV clearances.
  • Job purpose

    The Parent Partner will primarily ensure choice and ownership of intervention strategies by clients and families. The Parent Partner will assist clients/families with improving, maintaining or restoring everyday functional/daily living skills, and will assess for client’s case management needs. In addition, the Parent Partner will follow up with appropriate linkage, consult with team members, and provide needed referrals.

    Essential job functions

    1. Facilitate access to mental health programs and services for clients and families.

    a. Assess and identify needs.

    b. Assist with completing applications or other documents.

    c. Reduce language barriers by providing culturally sensitive care and using translation services when necessary.

    d. Provide education and referrals as needed.

    2. Provide field-based and trauma informed support services to clients/families.

    3. Facilitate access for housing.

    4. Work as part of dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide services.

    5. Be on-call by phone 24/7.

    6. Attend all required meetings, supervision, and case reviews as assigned.

    7. Meet Agency service time and documentation requirements.

    8. Performs all other duties as assigned.

    9. Must be able to provide all services in the field including client homes, schools or other locations.

    Work schedule: (subject to change based on Center’s needs)

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

    Work-Week: Sunday – Saturday

    Actual work schedule as agreed with Direct Supervisor and based on business/program needs.
